His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Himalayas : Exploring Bond of Faith, Culture and Enduring Devotion The Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association recently offered a Tenshug (long-life prayer) to His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala. On this occasion, we sat down with current and former abbots, as well as prominent figure from across the Himalayan region, to discuss the deep spiritual and cultural bonds, devotion, and enduring reverence that Himalayan communities hold for the Tibetan spiritual leader. The panelists expressed joy at seeing His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s vision for the Himalayan community steadily taking shape.
