As we approach the significant occasion of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday in 2025, VTAG Dharamsala is undertaking a heartfelt project titled the Global Tribute Initiative to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This initiative aims to gather handwritten birthday letters from Tibetans and supporters across the world as a collective offering of gratitude, love, and reverence. Beyond a personal tribute, this campaign also serves as a form of global advocacy—bringing international attention to His Holiness’s lifelong commitment to non-violence, compassion, and the Tibetan cause. Through this people-led initiative, we hope to create a powerful narrative that reflects the deep emotional bond His Holiness continues to inspire in hearts across borders. All the collected letters will be compiled into a book, which will be presented to His Holiness on the 6th of July 2025, as a meaningful and unified tribute from the global Tibetan and supporter community. We kindly request each member of your organization to write a personal, handwritten birthday letter to His Holiness to be included in this compilation. Additionally, we would like to invite _____ Dharamsala to join us as a collaborator in this initiative.
