Bhuchung Norbu is a content creator, entrepreneur, and teacher whose life reflects the resilience of Tibetans born in exile. After losing both of his parents at a young age, he was raised by his uncle, who ensured he received an education in a Tibetan school in exile. Today, Bhuchung teaches at a Tibetan monastery while also balancing multiple jobs to support his family—a reality shared by many Tibetans living in exile. His home is filled with portraits of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tibetan prayer flags, sacred mantras, and images of the Potala Palace, symbols of a homeland he has never seen but has always carried in his heart. "When I hear the word Tibet, I think of home—a home I may never reach." Through his work and his story, Bhuchung represents the strength of a people determined to preserve their language, culture, and identity despite generations of displacement.
