Global Teacher Prize Winner Partners with Tibetan Schools in Exile
Ranjitsinh Disale, winner of the Global Teacher Prize—widely regarded as the “Nobel Prize of teaching”—is working with Tibetan schools in exile to provide more than 20 interactive teaching panels to around 11 schools in an initial phase, alongside training for teachers. Disale met His Holiness the Dalai Lama for the first time at his residence in Dharamsala on 6 October and urged Tibetans to follow his message of peace and compassion.
