Dalai Lama to undergo knee treatment in Delhi

DHARAMSHALA, June 4: The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama announced on Thursday that the Tibetan spiritual leader will depart Dharamshala on June 5 for Delhi, where he is scheduled to undergo medical treatment for his left knee.

According to an official statement, the nonagenarian leader is expected to travel to Ladakh toward the end of June following his recovery, where he will spend an extended period as part of his annual summer stay.
