Jointly organized by the Emory Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics and The Dalai Lama Trust, the event marked the conclusion of Emory University’s global "Year of Compassion" honoring the spiritual leader's 90th birthday milestones. Throughout the conference, global educators, monastics, and scientists engaged in dialogues focused on integrating modern science with traditional monastic education, implementing compassion-based learning frameworks in schools worldwide, and exploring secular compassion training to foster global ethics and inner peace.
