This episode of Stories of Tibetans explores the journey of Ngawang Kunchok, a former Indian Army soldier who entered the world of cryptocurrency in hopes of supporting his family and creating better opportunities for their future. Through his experiences of financial struggle, loss, risk, and recovery, the story reflects the realities faced by many young Tibetans in exile who navigate uncertain futures while trying to build stable lives for themselves and their families. The interview also highlights the resilience, self-learning, and determination of Tibetans in diaspora as they continue to adapt to changing times across India, Nepal, and the West.
